The Faculty

The Department is currently comprised of over thirty tenure-track or tenured primary faculty in the areas of Bacteriology, Virology, Immunology, Parasitology, and Emerging and Biodefense-related pathogens. A larger number of secondary faculty have primary appointments in other UTMB departments, including the Departments of Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pathology, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry.
