Identification and characterization of cis-acting replication control elements of non-segmented negative strand RNA viruses of the Pramyxoviridae family with a view to devise antiviral and vaccine strategies.
Substantial cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience in clinical virology, molecular virology, molecular biology and infectious disease. Expertise in reverse genetics of single-stranded negative-sense RNA viruses. Strong background in viral vaccine discovery research. Exposure to all issues and aspects of vaccinology including developmental science and clinical trials. Experience in molecular diagnostics. Experience in virology diagnostic procedures. Conducted applied as well as basic research in University, and in Industrial settings. Management experience
